Timanfaya National Park

There are so many places to see in Lanzarote, especially when we’re talking about an island that looks like another planet. Lanzarote is a hypnotic island, with dormant volcanoes sculpted by turquoise waters, across arid plains dotted with little white villages and green windows. The fascinating Timanfaya National Park is the first stop on our grand island tour and stretches down to El Golfo.

The sheer presence of numerous volcanoes in this Martian landscape leaves you in awe.

We continue along the Volcano Route of Lanzarote

Following on from our Timanfaya visit, we continue along the Volcano Route towards one of the well-known highlights, Los Hervideros. A truly spectacular group of cliffs that surround natural wonders like Lago Verde (Lanzarote’s green lake), one of Lanzarote’s most intriguing landmarks that comprises of a bright green lake in the middle of a black volcanic beach.

We visit the wine region of La Geria

After seeing these legendary sites, there’s nothing better than to relax at El Grifo wineries in La Geria, Lanzarote’s quintessential winegrowing region. A perfect example of a wine tour in Lanzarote, that reveals the unusual winegrowing methods, tasting the delicious Malvasia wine in a truly unique landscape.

Volcan de la Corona in the North

A Lanzarote excursion across this Martian landscape is like landing on another planet, and Volcan de la Corona is certainly no different. This huge volcanic cone is one of the high points of this Lanzarote excursion, and where you will hear your voice echo stronger than no other place you have ever visited.

Monumento al Campesino

No other artist is held in higher esteem in Lanzarote than César Manrique: the man who took it upon himself to reinvent the look of the island through its most important heritage sites. Monumento del Campesino is a good example, a sustainable white structure that pays homage to the island’s farmers.

Jameos del Agua

We leave Monumento al Campesino and head to Jameos del Agua, César Manrique’s masterpiece. A cluster of underground pools, whitewashed walls and natural caves which form a surreal and exotic paradise which captivates you with its magic.
