Casa-Museo Monumento al Campesino

In the village of Mozaga, admire the great César Manrique sculpture dedicated as a tribute to the agricultural heritage of Lanzarote. The Museo Casa del Campesino find an extraordinary collection of tools and instruments used by the farmers through the times that give the visitor a large part of the history of the island and its traditions. Opening hours: 10:00 to 17:45 Estimated Duration of Visit: 1 hour  

Mirador del Río

Fire Mountain  – Timanfaya National Park

The visit to Timanfaya is virtually mandatory during your stay in Lanzarote. It is a vast natural space designed by the volcanic activity of late eighteenth century that currently has 25 volcanoes with only a certain number active: in some places, the surface temperatures exceed 100 ° C. Cueva de los Verdes

The visit to Cueva de los Verdes allows you to make a real “Journey to the Center of the Earth”. Jameos del Agua

Jameos del Agua is one of those places where the wonders of nature come together with the good work and great design César Manrique. Every corner is more beautiful than the last surprise. Lagoons, gardens, volcanoes, caves and albino crabs. Another places to visit during your stay in Lanzarote. Opening hours: 10:00 to 18:30 (Tuesdays & Saturdays open for dinner until midnight)Estimated duration of the visit: 1h30.  

Cactus Garden

César Manrique transformed an old quarry of volcanic ash, known locally as “rofe” or “lapilli” in a museum garden to expose this impressive collection of over 10,000 cacti from different corners of the world. Opening hours: 10:00 to 17:45 Estimated duration of the visit: 1h30.


International Museum of Contemporary Art (MIAC)

The Castillo de San José is a military fortress that rose to defend the island from attack by Barbary pirates and. It currently houses the International Museum of Contemporary Art, created in 1975 by César Manrique in order to bring to the island the most characteristic works of modern painting. Opening hours: 10:00-20:00 Estimated Duration of Visit: 1 hour
